DEVELOP A LIFE WORTH LIVING!
Lewisville Family Counseling is excited to be offering two new
DBT Skills Groups, one group for adults and one group for
adolescents of high school age!
Planning is underway for our next adolescent and adult groups.
Please contact us at 336-945-0137 or through the Contact Us form below if you are interested in joining a future group!
Join us for a 6-week group workshop where we will teach DBT skills to help you create a more fulfilling life. This group is perfect for individuals who struggle with substance use, eating disorders, borderline or other personality disorders, depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, or PTSD.
We will meet for 1 1/2 hours weekly for 6 weeks and will cover all 4 sets of behavioral skills:
- Mindfulness
- Distress Tolerance
- Emotional Regulation
- Interpersonal Effectiveness
Through activities, discussion, and some homework, you will learn how to be mindful (present and aware) of what you are experiencing, thus also gaining the skills to tolerate difficult emotions, manage your emotions, and communicate and interact with others more effectively.
Dates and Times: To be determined.
Cost: The fee for the group is $240 ($40 per session), but a commitment must be made to attend all 6 groups, and the $240 is due upfront.
Location: Lewisville Family Counseling, 6614 Shallowford Road, Suite 250, in Lewisville, NC. Groups will meet in the upstairs Conference Room.
Registration: Please call our office at 336-945-0137 or complete the Contact Us form at the bottom of this page and someone will contact you for more information.
