One of the group tabs should be labeled "Self-Compassion Book Club". On this webpage it should include the following information:
Join Abbey, one of Lewisville Family Counseling's graduate interns, every other Friday starting March 10th for a counseling-focused book club series in which we will read Self-Compassion by Kristen Neff. Every other week members of the group will be responsible for reading a section of the book, completing a short reflective journal, and be prepared to discuss their reactions to the material in session. Each session will last an hour and a half and will be comprised of thought-provoking discussion about the book, reactions to the material, and time to process emotions that came up during the reading of the chapters.
