Just One Thing

Developing a Buddha Brain One Simple Practice at a Time
Written by Rick Hanson, PhD
Read by Rebecca Sullivan, LCSW

In 2020, Lewisville Family Counseling would like to invite you to take a 52 week journey with us, through the reading of "Just One Thing: Developing a Buddha Brain One Simple Practice at a Time," written by neuropsychologist, Rick Hanson, PhD, and read by Rebecca Sullivan, LCSW.

In our society today, it is easy for us to get caught up in the rush and stress around us. "Just One Thing," was designed to assist in helping us to be more mindful and focus on the present moment, to slow down, and to challenge the way we think. We will review practices that will assist in developing more relaxed version of ourselves, build our awareness of how we respond and react to the world around us, and how we can change these responses to promote a better sense of overall wellness. I hope you'll join us!

Videos are posted weekly on our Facebook page at 8:30 pm every Tuesday night in 2020.  They will also be posted below for continued reference.
