In the midst of the holiday season, join Jennifer Locklear, Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Yoga Teacher,
for a relaxing Yoga Nidra experience, with donations going to Breathing Access.
This is a donation-based class (suggested minimum donation is $20) to benefit Breathing Access, the 501c3 non-profit associated with
The Breathing Room. Breathing Access's mission is to bring arts and wellness to under-served groups in our community and
currently has programs at Cook Elementary and Petree Elementary Schools. Learn more at BreathingAccess.org.
Lewisville Family Counseling, PLLC will match total donations up to $300. If you cannot attend the class but would still like
to make a donation, you may do so at BreathingAccess.org.
This class is open to all levels, and no experience is necessary. The class is open to people ages 18 and up.
Jennifer will begin the class with a gentle, mindful movement designed to settle the body, and then move into a Yoga Nidra.
Yoga Nidra is a "yogic sleep" in which a guided meditation is used to facilitate a deep state of relaxation while still maintaining awareness.
You may bring your own mat, bolster, and blanket, or use those provided by the studio.
