Jennifer Ventura-Romero, a Marriage and Family Therapy intern student at Abilene ChristianUniversity, is pursuing her licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate (LMFTA). She holds a bachelor’s degree in General Studies with a concentration in Psychology and Bible, and she is also certified in Spanish Interpreting.
Jennifer believes that providing empathy and compassion can empower clients to discover their
innate resources during challenging times. She employs a systemic approach, incorporating
modalities such as Solution Brief Focused Therapy and the Gottman method to guide
individuals and couples towards lasting change. She is committed to serving her clients with
cultural sensitivity and equity, regardless of their background.
Outside of the office, Jennifer enjoys watching new K-drama series, visiting Grandpa Joe’s
Slaberia, and taking long nature walks. She values spending time with her family and friends
and is always open to exploring new places.
Jennifer provides clinical services under the supervision of Meghan Ready, LMFT, AAMFT Approved Supervisor (remote supervisor) and Jeremy Pierce, MA, LMFT-S, LPC-S, AAMFT Approved Supervisor (university supervisor, [email protected]).
