Since receiving her master’s degree, Anne-Hampton has been working as a private practice clinician with the goal of becoming fully licensed as a Clinical Social Worker. With a foundation built on enhancing each individual’s well-being, she approaches counseling empathetically and with a strengths-based mindset. While Anne-Hampton aims to utilize several different evidence-based practices including, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, etc., she also understands that each individual’s experiences are unique. Therefore, Anne-Hampton works to ensure a collaborative, therapeutic environment where goals are set in accordance with the individual’s hopes and needs. Her experience is in working with individuals, families, and couples, helping them better understand their range of thoughts and feelings and what can be done with these in moving forward towards healing.
From daily life stressors and transitions, to trauma exposure, we believe that all experiences are worthy of processing and addressing, and with this processing, growth and change are possible. As a clinician, Anne-Hampton’s priority is to create a safe and comfortable environment for her clients to feel heard and validated as they move through this process. Her goal as a counselor is to always walk alongside her clients with compassion and sincerity. When not at work, Anne-Hampton enjoys riding horses, exercising, travelling, and spending time with friends, family and her bernedoodle, Beezie.
