Kayla’s approach to therapy begins with acceptance and unconditional positive regard for the client. She does this by prioritizing validation of the client’s experiences and empathizing with all emotions accompanying those. Kayla strives to provide customized and individual care to each of her clients, working with them to identify their own goals, plans, and desired results from therapy. Kayla utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and client-centered approach along with other modalities that help accomplish those goals.
Kayla believes in a holistic approach to health and seeks to address the mental, physical, social, and spiritual aspects of life together to create harmony and peace. All people have the natural capability and desire to thrive, love, and live in congruence with their personal values. Therapy provides a setting that allows clients the space to discuss and work through their personal roadblocks and come to a greater understanding of what is required to achieve their goals and become the healthiest versions of themselves.
