What do you think of when you hear the word YOGA?
Do you feel like you couldn't possibly do YOGA because you aren't flexible enough and can't focus well enough?
We have great news! Improved flexibility and focus are obtainable goals, and yoga can help increase both physical and emotional flexibility and focus.
Most people are familiar with fitness-based yoga, a form of physical exercise, which increases physical fitness and focuses on physical strength and flexibility.
Mindful Movement, however, is a form of "innercise" which builds resilience in the nervous system and focuses on physiologic balance. It's like exercise for your nervous system!
Slow, mindful movement has been researched and shown to be effective in improving symptoms of depression and anxiety, among other mental health concerns. Mindful Movement can help you re-balance the nervous system and can actually improve decreased energy levels.
In this six week Yoga Counseling Workshop, practice this unique form of yoga and learn how Mindful Movement can help your body to heal your mind!
